I thought I read the reviews and description of this car thoroughly. Evidently not. The car itself works fine however, when you turn it on it plays a loud song over and over and there is no volume or music off button. My 7 year-old thought it was funny and loved it for about 30 minutes. After that he even wanted to turn the music off. It just isn't realistic to play with this is in the house because of the noise. We ended up finding a similar car with no music that works off of batteries (another plus so you don't have to wait the 4 hours for it to recharge) at Steinmart for $12.99. We're giving this one to Goodwill.

Every one has a lot of fun with this toy. The only problem we had was that the dirctions for charging the toy are wrong. It tells you that when you plug it in to charge it that the switch on the car must be left in the on position. The music played non stop for hours and when I contacted the company about this they told me to turn the remote off. Mean while the batteries had not even been put into the remote yet. When you plug the car in to charge it...leave the switch off! It does not need to be turned on to charge it. Big error on the company's part.
